To be successful in their mission, Cameron and John will need to be in peak physical and mental condition and have spent the last twelve months preparing for their arduous journey. Their preparations have included 4 weeks polar training in the Arctic as well as hundreds of hours spent pulling tyres to strengthen the muscles needed to pull their heavy sleds across Antarctica.

Cameron and John will carry out their challenge with Sumiyo Tsuzuki (Everest Summiteer) and Peter Blaikie, who, at 70 years of age, will be the oldest person ever to reach the Pole on foot.
